Influenza: S07-2013 Stabilization of epidemic activity at a high level. The flu epidemic remains intense throughout the country. The highest incidence rates were recorded in: Nord-Pas-de-Calais, Champagne-Ardenne, Corsica, Languedoc-Roussillon, Midi-Pyrénées, Rhône-Alpes, Auvergne, Centre, and Limousin.
Acute Gastroenteritis (AGE): S07-2013 Four regions have incidence rates above the national epidemic threshold: Picardy, Limousin, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, and Languedoc-Roussillon.The new GII4 norovirus variant (Sydney 2012) is responsible for the majority of clustered AGE cases reported to the CNR for enteric viruses.
