Key Points

  • Continued increase in vaccination uptake among infants subject to the expanded vaccination requirement:

    • 90.6% received a first dose of the meningococcal C vaccine (+3.7 percentage points compared to 2019)

    • 93.8% received the meningococcal C vaccine booster (+4.3 percentage points compared to 2018)

    • 94.1% received a first dose of the MMR vaccine (+1.4 percentage points compared to 2018)

    • 93.2% received a third dose of the hexavalent vaccine (+1.1 percentage points compared to 2018)

    • 93.2% received a third dose of the pneumococcal vaccine (+0.7 percentage points compared to 2018)

  • Increase in vaccination coverage among children born before the law took effect:

    • +5.8 percentage points for the first dose of the HPV vaccine among 15-year-old girls born in 2006 (49.6%) compared to girls born in 2005 (43.8%)

    • 6.2% of 15-year-old boys born in 2006 received at least one dose of the HPV vaccine

    • Increase in catch-up vaccination coverage against meningococcal C across all age groups

  • Increase in influenza vaccination coverage compared to the 2019–2020 season:

    • +5.9 percentage points among people aged 65 and older
