COVID-19

  • Decline in viral circulation. This trend is evident in virological surveillance indicators (incidence, positivity, and testing rates), which are declining across all age groups and departments, except among those under 15, where a slight increase is observed.

  • The BA.2 sublineage became the dominant strain in S09 and accounts for 98.1% of interpretable sequences in the Flash S17 survey (04/25)

  • Decrease in emergency room visits for suspected COVID-19

  • Decrease in new hospitalizations and new admissions to intensive care

  • Decrease in the number of COVID-19 cases in ESMS

Influenza and influenza-like illness

  • Second week of the post-epidemic phase.

  • Activity related to flu-like illnesses remained stable in hospital emergency departments.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • In week 18, activity related to gastroenteritis was slightly down in hospital emergency departments.
