Bronchiolitis
No epidemic activity.
Decrease in RSV detection according to the virology laboratories at Rennes University Hospital and Brest University Hospital.
Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are circulating, notably rhinoviruses.
Maternal vaccination and infant immunization with monoclonal antibodies are two alternative strategies for preventing RSV bronchiolitis.
Influenza and influenza-like illness
Decrease in epidemic indicators.
Detection of influenza A and influenza B viruses according to the virology laboratories at Rennes University Hospital and Brest University Hospital.
Decreased activity.
The fall vaccination campaign against influenza and COVID-19 began on October 15.
Gastroenteritis
Moderate activity.
Indicators are consistent with what has been observed in previous years.
Emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations
Decrease in the number of emergency room visits (-2.82%) and decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations for all causes (-3.84%) during Week 06 compared to Week 05.
The volumes of emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations (all causes) are similar to observations from previous years, for the same period and all age groups.
