Key Points

COVID-19

Decrease in the incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests. The regional IR dropped from 36.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 38 to 27.3 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 39. IRs are below 50 per 100,000 inhabitants and declining across all departments in the region: -5 points in Côtes d’Armor, -8 points in Finistère, -14 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and -8 points in Morbihan. The improvement in the epidemiological situation continues across all Breton departments. Attention remains focused on the Brocéliande EPCI and those aged 65 and older in Ille-et-Vilaine. Vaccination coverage stands at 81.8% for a single dose and 80.0% for a full course.

Asthma

High activity among children under 15 as schools reopen. Decrease in the number of emergency room visits following the peak observed in week 37. Decrease in the number of SOS Médecins consultations compared to the previous week.

Bronchiolitis

No epidemic activity: increases in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.

Gastroenteritis

Low activity. Decrease in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.
