Key points

Bronchiolitis

  • Pre-epidemic activity.

  • Increased detection of RSV according to the virology laboratories at Rennes University Hospital and Brest University Hospital. Other viruses capable of causing bronchiolitis are circulating, notably rhinoviruses.

Influenza

  • Non-epidemic activity, very low. Sporadic detection of influenza A virus according to data from the Virology Laboratory at Rennes University Hospital, and of influenza B virus according to Rennes and Brest University Hospitals.

COVID-19

  • Decrease in visits to community emergency rooms and hospital emergency departments.

Pneumonia

  • Decrease in calls to SOS Médecins for pneumonia, though the number remains high compared to previous years.
