COVID-19

Another increase in the incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests, amid the discontinuation of reimbursement for certain tests. The regional IR rose from 53.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 43 to 65.8 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 44. IRs are above 50 per 100,000 inhabitants in Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan and have reached this threshold in Côtes d’Armor: +2 points in Côtes d’Armor, +14 points in Finistère, +11 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +19 points in Morbihan. An increase in critical care hospitalizations is observed. The incidence is rising in southern Brittany, particularly among 25- to 50-year-olds in Morbihan, in public intermunicipal cooperation institutions (EPCI) containing large cities, as well as in a few smaller EPCIs with identified clusters. Vaccination coverage stands at 82.7% for a single dose and 81.7% for a full course.

Moderate activity. Sharp increase in emergency room visits among children under 5
