COVID-19
The COVID epidemiological situation has worsened at the regional level over the past 4 weeks.
Increase in the incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests, amid the discontinuation of reimbursement for certain tests. The regional IR rose from 65.8 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 44 to 95.3 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 45. IRs are above 100 per 100,000 inhabitants in Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan: +17 points in Côtes d’Armor, +30 points in Finistère, +36 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +30 points in Morbihan. An increase in hospitalizations is observed. Incidence is rising among those aged 25–65 and remains high among those aged 65–79 in Ille-et-Vilaine and Morbihan. Close attention should be paid to public intermunicipal cooperation bodies (EPCI) containing large urban centers. Vaccination coverage stands at 82.9% for a single dose and 81.9% for a full course.
