COVID-19

Very sharp increase in the Covid-19 incidence rate (IR) calculated based on PCR and antigen tests. The regional IR rose from 1,269 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 52 to 2,108 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 1. The IRs are above 2,000 per 100,000 inhabitants in Morbihan and Ille-et-Vilaine: +821 points in Côtes d’Armor, +753 points in Finistère, +928 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and +831 points in Morbihan. The deterioration of the regional COVID epidemiological situation continues, with an increase in all epidemic monitoring indicators as well as in emergency room visits, new hospitalizations in general care, and admissions to critical care. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 81.3% for one dose and 82.0% for a full course.

Bronchiolitis

Epidemic activity, declining phase. Sharp declines in emergency room visits, SOS Médecins consultations, and viral circulation.

Influenza

Pre-epidemic activity. Moderate activity continues, according to SOS Médecins. Moderate viral circulation, according to virology data from the University Hospitals of Rennes and Brest.

Gastroenteritis

High activity. Decline in hospital emergency room and SOS Médecins indicators (all ages).
