COVID-19
Improvement in the regional COVID-19 epidemiological situation: a sharp decrease in the incidence rate (IR) and the testing rate, accompanied by a slight decline in the positivity rate (PR). The regional IR fell from 1,370.0 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 6 to 885.6 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 7. The IR in Finistère remains above 1,000 per 100,000 inhabitants: -467 points in Côtes d’Armor, -421 points in Finistère, -493 points in Ille-et-Vilaine, and -561 points in Morbihan. Decrease in general care hospitalizations, emergency room visits, and calls to SOS Médecins, and stabilization of critical care hospitalizations. Estimated vaccination coverage by place of residence stands at 84.4% for one dose and 83.4% for a full course.

Pre-epidemic activity. Increased viral circulation in the eastern part of the region. Increased emergency room visits among children.
