• The regional (unadjusted) IR rose from 556 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 49 to 579 per 100,000 inhabitants in Week 50. The IR is rising in 3 departments (decreasing in Côtes d’Armor).

• A sharp increase in the prevalence of general care hospitalizations, an increase in the prevalence of critical care hospitalizations and use of hospital emergency departments, and stabilization in the use of SOS Médecins.

Bronchiolitis in children under 2 years of age

• Epidemic activity, declining phase

• Decrease in emergency room visits for the second week: epidemic peak passed

• RSV viral circulation is stable according to the virology laboratory at Brest University Hospital and declining at Rennes University Hospital.

Influenza and influenza-like illnesses

• Epidemic activity, rising phase

• Sharp increase in emergency room visits and SOS Médecins consultations.

• Increase in influenza A virus circulation according to the virology laboratories at the Brest and Rennes University Hospitals.

• Sporadic detection of influenza B virus.

Acute gastroenteritis

• Low activity. Stabilization in the number of emergency room visits and a slight decrease in SOS Médecins indicators compared to the previous week.
