Key points

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • 38 imported cases of chikungunya and 23 imported cases of dengue. No imported cases of Zika virus infection.

  • An outbreak of local transmission of chikungunya in Côte-d’Or in Dijon, with 7 cases.

COVID-19

  • Low activity with a slight increase

  • A continuous increase in the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in wastewater has been observed since mid-July in the region (as in France), with no impact on the healthcare system.

  • Continued increase, albeit at a low level, in the proportion of suspected COVID-19 cases: 0.3% of emergency room visits (vs. 0.2% in Week 1), and 1.6% of SOS Médecins calls (vs. 1.7% in Week 1).

Extreme heat, heat wave

  • No heatwave currently underway.

  • Indicators for heat-related illnesses are at low levels.

Non-specific SurSaUD surveillance

  • No unusual increase in all-cause activity for SOS Médecins associations and emergency departments. Indicators remain at the levels observed during the same period in the two previous summer seasons.
