Key points

Acute lower respiratory tract infections

  • Activity related to acute lower respiratory infections remains at a level comparable to previous seasons for emergency departments and SOS Médecins associations.

Bronchiolitis

  • Activity observed among emergency department visits is stable at 8.0% (vs. 7.9% in S-1), while it is increasing among SOS Médecins cases to 10.0% (vs. 8.7%).

Influenza

  • Flu-related activity (all ages) among emergency department visits fluctuates within the ranges observed during the two previous winters.

  • Activity at SOS Médecins is also at levels observed during the two previous winters at this same time.

COVID-19

  • The downward trend continues for all Covid-19-related indicators.

Acute gastroenteritis

  • Gastroenteritis activity remains within the ranges observed in previous years: it remains stable in emergency departments at 1.0% and increases slightly in outpatient settings to 5.1%.
