Health Surveillance in Auvergne. Epidemiological Update as of April 10, 2015.

The 2015 Vaccination ScheduleVaccination policy is developed by the Minister of Health, who establishes the conditions for immunization, issues the necessary recommendations, and publishes the vaccination schedule following consultation with the High Council for Public Health (HCSP). The vaccination schedule specifies the vaccinations applicable to residents of France based on their age, issues general vaccination recommendations, and provides specific vaccination recommendations tailored to special circumstances (increased risks of complications, exposure, or transmission) or occupational exposures. The 2015 schedule does not include any new recommendations for the general population but only minor changes compared to last year. Following the opinion of the High Council for Public Health, the main changes concern updates to the recommended procedures in the event of:

  • one or more cases of invasive meningococcal infection,

  • one or more cases of pertussis.
