The Pays d'Issoire Dômes et Montagne Senior Independence Center, located in the Puy-de-Dôme department, has launched a network of wellness ambassadors to promote “healthy aging” in its community. Elected officials, social workers, and volunteers act as liaisons to identify the needs of seniors, facilitate their access to preventive health initiatives, and help combat isolation and ageism.
