COVID-19: Epidemiological Update for Martinique as of March 2, 2023
Key Points
In Martinique, S08 was marked by an increase in virological indicators. This increase, while moderate, could be partly explained by the festivities associated with Carnival.
Testing and incidence rates, adjusted for the holidays on the 21st and 22nd, rose by 5% and 63%, respectively. The positivity rate also increased by 2.1 percentage points.
The use of SOS Médecin services increased.
Furthermore, new hospitalizations were low and stable in Week 8.
