COVID-19: Epidemiological Update for Martinique as of March 2, 2023

  • In Martinique, S08 was marked by an increase in virological indicators. This increase, while moderate, could be partly explained by the festivities associated with Carnival.

  • Testing and incidence rates, adjusted for the holidays on the 21st and 22nd, rose by 5% and 63%, respectively. The positivity rate also increased by 2.1 percentage points.

  • The use of SOS Médecin services increased.

  • Furthermore, new hospitalizations were low and stable in Week 8.
