Environment.

In response to the challenges posed by the constraints and costs of disposing of waste and household garbage, a range of so-called "clean" products has emerged, bearing the green label certifying compliance with standards established by AFNOR. This applies to both everyday consumer products and packaging materials and systems. The two main criteria are recycling or recovery, but the need for a multi-criteria approach to awarding this label is clearly evident in the context of the circulation of foreign products subject to less stringent rules (German products). The Ministry of the Environment has opted for a phased approach to a more comprehensive approach to environmental protection through changes in industrial and consumer behavior. Furthermore, the issue of improving environmental quality is addressed in relation to three specific problems: noise, air, and water.
