Physical activity: a matter of personal preference?

It is society’s responsibility to encourage people to engage in physical activity and to create more supportive environments. We must give meaning to this activity, which fosters social participation and skill development. Physical education professionals have a role to play in providing this individualized support, similar to the role played by dietitians in helping people adopt a more balanced diet.
