Gaining a better understanding of eating disorders.

Professor Jean-Luc Vénisse is one of France’s pioneers in the care of people with eating disorders. He emphasizes the need to do “more and better” to prevent, support, and treat people with anorexia and bulimia. To achieve this, we must challenge preconceived notions, work collaboratively, and support professionals. Finally, it is time to acknowledge that anorexia and bulimia are genuine addictions, stresses this specialist, who calls for a genuine mobilization.
