A study of mortality rates among former EDF-GDF employees since 1978 is currently underway. Its objectives are to characterize mortality in this population and, in particular, to examine the relationship between cancer mortality and occupational exposure to certain substances, and then to assess the proportion of deaths attributable to these exposures.
