Comparison of known workplace carcinogens and lists of occupational diseases

This report was prepared at the request of the Directorate of Labor Relations (DRT) of the Ministry of Labor to assist the Occupational Diseases Commission of the Higher Council for the Prevention of Occupational Risks (CSPRP) in prioritizing the review of the lists of occupational diseases related to occupational cancers, with a view to revising existing lists or creating new ones. The work presented here consisted of identifying carcinogenic agents (or situations) that are known or strongly suspected to cause cancer in humans in the workplace, other than those listed in the 2004 French occupational disease tables.
