This accompanying guide presents the occupational noise exposure matrix developed as part of the Matgéné program. Led by Santé publique France, the program aims to produce occupational exposure indicators for the entire working population in France and, to this end, to develop occupational exposure matrices tailored to this population. This "noise" matrix provides exposure estimates for jobs considered to be exposed to an average noise level of ≥ 70 dB(A) over an 8-hour workday, between 2006 and 2023.
