Catherine Richard, of the General Secretariat of the Interministerial Committees on Cities, explains how health—established as one of the thematic priorities of city contracts—has relied on legislative texts to become integrated into them and ultimately develop. From the former city contracts to the future local health contracts, the political involvement of cities remains crucial.
