City of Orly: Preserving Independence for the Elderly [Interview].

In Orly (Val-de-Marne), the municipal social services center organizes physical activity and memory-stimulation workshops for people over 60. A free shuttle service takes them to their medical appointments. A dietitian designs the menus for the city’s dining services available to residents over 60. Beyond these examples, the goal of this member city of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) Healthy Cities Network is to foster social connections and the well-being of older adults within the municipality.
