Survey on Diabetes in France.

Diabetes is a chronic condition that is becoming increasingly common, affecting more than 2.5 million people in France. To assess the health status of this population, evaluate progress in diabetes care, and gauge the information and education received and expected, a survey was conducted among people with diabetes and their doctors. The results show that care has improved but that much remains to be done, particularly regarding patient education.
