SOS Médecins: Declining rate of procedures, with 1,982 procedures for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 procedures (2,766 in Week 13)
Community laboratories (3 labs): 15.8% positive tests (Week 14, 20.1% in Week 13)
Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes
914 cases, including 48 deaths reported as of April 7, 2020, in 154 long-term care facilities
Hospital surveillance
Oscour® network (emergency departments): declining visit rates, with 862 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 in Week 14 (976 in Week 13)
Hospital laboratories: 17.1% of tests positive (Week 14, 20.1% in Week 13)
Hospital data (SI-VIC): On April 7, 713 people were hospitalized, 225 of whom were in intensive care. Since March 1, 392 people have been discharged from the hospital. More than 50% of these individuals were hospitalized in Seine-Maritime hospitals.
Sentinel intensive care units: 61% of cases were aged 65 and older, and 60% of cases had at least one risk factor
Mortality surveillance
Regarding all-cause mortality, moderate excess mortality was observed in Seine-Maritime during week 13.
147 hospital deaths due to COVID-19, 60% of which involved people over 70 years of age.
