City-wide surveillance

  • SOS Médecins: 587 cases of suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 cases (S*, 761 in S-1*)

  • LABM (3 labs): 6.7% positive tests (Week S, 10.7% in Week S-1)

*S/S-1: for week S (April 20–26, 2020) and week S-1 (April 13–19, 2020)

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • 1,622 cases, including 224 deaths reported as of April 27, 2020

Hospital surveillance

  • Oscour® Network: 312 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 (Week S, 468 in Week S-1)

  • Hospital laboratories: 14.1% positive tests (S, 10% in S-1)

  • Sentinel intensive care units: 55% of cases aged 65 and older, and 72% of cases with at least one risk factor

Mortality surveillance

  • Moderate excess mortality from all causes and across all age groups observed in the region during week S-1, in Seine-Maritime and in the Eure.
