  • In 2021, the incidence rate, at 165 (141–188) per million inhabitants, should be interpreted with caution due to the very wide confidence interval

Chlamydia trachomatis infection

  • In 2021, an increase in the regional screening rate (60.1 per 1,000 inhabitants) was observed in Île-de-France among both men and women compared to 2020. The diagnosis rate was 2.3 per 1,000 inhabitants (SNDS), an increase in diagnoses in 2021 (n=2,449) compared to 2020 (n=2,340) and 2019 (n=754)

Gonococcal infection

  • In 2021, an increase in the regional screening rate (55.4 per 1,000 inhabitants) was observed in Île-de-France among both men and women compared to 2020

  • A decrease in diagnoses in 2021 (n=2,593) compared to 2020 (n=2,927) and an increase compared to 2019 (n=1,451)

Syphilis

  • In 2021, an increase in the regional screening rate (67.8 per 1,000 inhabitants) was observed in Île-de-France, a rate that has been rising since 2014

  • An increase in diagnoses in 2021 (n=377) compared to 2020 (n=217) and 2019 (n=260)
