  • Visits to community medical emergency services for “suspected COVID-19” were rising moderately among the youngest age groups and remained stable elsewhere. Visits to hospital emergency departments remained stable.

  • The number of new hospitalizations remained stable, while the number of new critical care admissions and the number of in-hospital deaths with or due to SARS-CoV-2 infection were rising moderately, though at a level that remained comparatively low.

  • The total number of new COVID-19 cases reported by healthcare facilities increased this week.
