City-wide surveillance

  • SOS Médecins: 939 cases of suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 (S16, 1,573 in S15)

  • Sentinelles Network: 64 (tele)consultations for acute respiratory infections per 100,000 inhabitants (W16, 173 in W15)

  • LABM (3 labs): 12% positive tests (S16, 20% in S15)

Surveillance in long-term care facilities, including nursing homes

  • The number of cases has been decreasing since March 23 (Week 13)

  • The majority of cases and deaths are reported in nursing homes

Surveillance in hospitals

  • Oscour® Network: 1,389 visits for suspected COVID-19 per 10,000 (Week 16, 1,636 in Week 15)

  • Hospital laboratories: 15% of tests positive (Week 16, 23% in Week 15)

  • SI-VIC: 1,334 people hospitalized, including 234 in intensive care as of April 22, 2020

  • Sentinel intensive care units: 61% of cases aged 65 and older, and 80% with at least one risk factor

Mortality surveillance

  • Excess mortality detected since week 12
