It is a key event for raising awareness and mobilizing the public and healthcare professionals, with the aim of increasing understanding of the importance of vaccination. It takes place annually in more than 200 countries during the last week of April. In France, coordinated by the Ministry of Solidarity and Health and by Santé publique France, VW is managed at the regional level by the regional health agencies (ARS).
