In the Languedoc-Roussillon region, a smoking cessation program for people with disabilities.
For two years, a team of professionals provided support at several Work-Based Support Facilities (ESATs) to help people with disabilities reduce their tobacco use or quit smoking. There is significant demand for such a program among these individuals. In fact, in some ESATs, 30% of the population smokes. A scientifically conducted evaluation has shown that this program is effective in helping people reduce or quit smoking. Given its effectiveness, it deserves to be rolled out more widely.
