Migrant workers living in shelters: therapeutic education for patients with diabetes.

In Vitry-sur-Seine, the city’s health services are organizing therapeutic education sessions in shelters housing retired migrants to improve the quality of life for patients with diabetes. Two interpreters from the community and a social mediator provide an essential link to these patients, who do not have access to standard medical care.
