Learning to resist peer pressure. [Interview].
Interview with Corinne Vetroff, principal of Paul Fort Middle School in Courcouronnes, Essonne (France). This middle school, which serves a majority of students from working-class neighborhoods, is developing a program focused on well-being and kindness. One of the main goals of this program at Paul Fort Middle School is to combat school dropout rates; the school drew inspiration from a program in Quebec. At the same time, another program focused more specifically on addiction prevention has been implemented, which works on psychosocial skills, the ability to “learn to say no,” and resisting peer pressure.
