Understanding emotions in order to get back on track with logical thinking [Interview].

The Itep in Moyembrie (Aisne), managed by the Union for the Management of Health Insurance Fund Facilities (Ugecam) of Nord-Pas-de-Calais-Picardie, has implemented a restructuring project to improve care delivery for the local population. The goal is to align services with demand and develop new initiatives. To this end, four ITEP units were established in the department in 2014. These medical-social facilities provide a platform for services and support. The family-based facilities serve children and adolescents aged 6 to 20 with behavioral disorders. To address issues related to youth violence, one workshop focuses on helping participants understand their emotions in order to regulate them, restore logical thinking, and develop psychosocial skills, including self-esteem and self-confidence. The second workshop focuses on preventing verbal abuse of a sexual nature.
