French Guiana: Professionals Trained to Assist Migrants.

As part of a partnership with INPES and Guyane Promo Santé, Comede organized two specialized training sessions in 2008 on the medical and psychosocial care of foreigners in vulnerable situations. Aimed at medical and social professionals and nonprofit organizations, this initiative highlighted the participants’ determination to combat exclusion despite a geographic, social, and health context that compounds barriers to accessing care.
