Key Points

The incidence rate is rising in week 23 of 2022 (241 cases per 100,000 people in week 23 of 2022 vs. 194 in week 22 of 2022).
This increase affects all age groups. The highest incidence rate is observed among those aged 50–59 (311 cases per 100,000 inhabitants).
The positivity rate (16.6%) is rising in week 23 of 2022 across all age groups.
Testing rates are stable across all age groups, except among those aged 0–9, where they are increasing

SOS Médecins: Since week 07-22, the data pertains only to the SOS Médecins associations in Strasbourg and Troyes. For these two associations, the number of consultations for acute gastroenteritis (AGI), all ages (Figure 2), was 252 consultations in week 23-2022. This figure is stable compared to the previous week (260 consultations). The share of activity is 6.5% and is slightly down compared to last week.
Oscour®: The number of emergency department visits for GEA, all ages (Figure 3), remained stable in week 23-2022 (237 visits compared to 244 in week 22-2022), representing 0.9% of the department’s total activity. Children under 5 years of age account for just under half of the visits, with 106 visits for GEA (3.8% of the activity share for this age group). The proportion of hospitalizations for GEA among all hospitalizations following an emergency department visit in children under 5 is 6.6%.
Virology data: According to data from the Strasbourg laboratory, rotavirus circulation is now low.
Enteric viruses are now circulating at a low level, according to data provided by the Strasbourg University Hospital.

Oscour®: In week 23 of 2022, the number of visits and the proportion of activity related to allergies increased slightly in the region’s emergency departments compared to previous weeks.
SOS Médecins: In week 23 of 2022, the number of consultations and the proportion of cases related to allergies at SOS Médecins clinics in the region decreased.
