Flu
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency room visits for flu-like symptoms, across all age groups, rose again in week 03-2024 compared to the previous week (524 visits versus 273 in week 02-2024); representing 2.1% of total activity.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for flu-like symptoms, across all age groups, rose sharply in week 03-2024 (1,144 consultations compared to 792 in week 02-2024); the share of flu-related activity is 14.6% and remains high.
Bronchiolitis
OSCOUR®: In week 03-2024, the proportion of cases related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age in emergency departments is decreasing (5.4%), as is the number of visits (71 visits).
SOS Médecins: In week 03-2024, the proportion of cases related to bronchiolitis among SOS Médecins associations remained stable. It stood at 4.6%, and the number of consultations was also stable (21 consultations).
COVID-19
OSCOUR®: In week 03-2024, the number of emergency department visits for COVID-19 continues to decline compared to previous weeks (105 visits versus 150 in week 02-2024), representing 0.4% of activity.
SOS Médecins: In week 03-2024, the number of SOS Médecins consultations for COVID-19 decreased compared to the previous week.
Acute Gastroenteritis
OSCOUR®: The number of emergency department visits for gastroenteritis, across all age groups, rose slightly in week 03-2024 compared to previous weeks. The share of activity is 1.3%, representing 336 visits.
SOS Médecins: The number of consultations for gastroenteritis remained stable in week 03-2024 (730 consultations), as did the share of activity for this condition (9.3%).
