The Reims Local Mission has a "Health Center." Through this initiative, the Local Mission's staff address the issue of smoking from both health and financial perspectives. The results are encouraging in that the informational messages, delivered by employment support professionals, lead young smokers to consider and attempt to quit smoking, as well as to make greater use of the Health Center. This approach also appears to facilitate their transition into the workforce.
