Health and Precarity: A Closer Look at the Meuse Department.

The authors provide an overview of the evaluation of initiatives carried out in the Meuse department as part of the City Health Plan/Local Health Networks program established by the Directorate General for Health, for which the CFES conducted a monitoring and evaluation study. Data on the characteristics of the local context and the populations affected by the initiatives were collected through interviews with the DDASS and local missions. This highlights the strong predominance of rural areas, with their specific problems (difficulties with social integration for adolescents and young adults) and factors contributing to social vulnerability (isolation of the elderly, difficulty accessing healthcare), but also a strong sense of solidarity.
