COVID-19

  • In Week 40, SARS-CoV-2 circulation continues to rise in the region (incidence rate of 730 per 100,000 inhabitants, +31%). Hospitalizations and reports in long-term care facilities are on the rise.

Monkeypox

  • 267 cases of monkeypox had been confirmed in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes as of 10/11/22.

Bronchiolitis

  • Transition to pre-epidemic phase.

  • Activity related to bronchiolitis among children under 2 years of age is higher in the central and eastern parts of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes in terms of emergency room visits and hospitalizations.

  • The regional epidemic trend is very similar to last year’s.

Chikungunya, dengue, Zika

  • 25 imported cases of dengue and 2 cases of chikungunya have been identified in the region since May.
