Rhône-Alpes: Social Security taught in high schools via the Internet.
In the Rhône-Alpes region, the regional health insurance agency and the regional health education committee have launched a website providing information on the French social security system. The goals are to raise awareness among young people about this often-overlooked mechanism of solidarity, to foster discussion, and to incorporate these concepts into high school curricula. The site has been online since 2006 but has struggled to gain traction.
