Teen Centers Play a Front-Line Role in Mental Health [Interview]

Adolescent Centers (MDA) are places that offer free, anonymous, and informal support and counseling to young people ages 11 to 25. Professional staff listen to them and offer recreational or educational activities, thereby building a vital bond of trust. They then identify situations of psychological distress and either provide short-term support or refer them to appropriate care services.
