School Climate and Health Promotion: A Survey of Middle School Students.
HBSC is a unique survey of middle school students’ lives, in which they answer questions about their well-being, health, school experiences, challenges, levels of engagement in risky behaviors, and life circumstances. What stands out in the results is the decline observed during middle school years. During these years, indicators of overall health and satisfaction with school and life in general decline, while risky behaviors increase.
