Provide training in suicide prevention.

Suicide prevention in France relies in particular on the training of three types of responders with distinct roles: the sentinel, the suicide risk assessor, and the crisis responder. This strategy takes into account the latest international scientific research. Thirty national trainers were trained in 2018–2019, and they will in turn train responders throughout the country. Underlying this is the ethic of concern, which involves reaching out to others and showing them that we care.
