Nutrition: Getting Active at School: Learn More [Bibliography]

The authors of this section have chosen to include only resources related to health education or nutrition education in schools. Therefore, information regarding the eating habits of children and adolescents, for example, will not be included. References are generally listed in alphabetical order by author (except for intervention tools and children’s books, which are listed by title). The recency of the documents, their availability, and their accessibility online were all prioritized criteria. The first part of this "Further Reading" section presents organizations and websites that can be directly utilized by education professionals; intervention tools and children’s books make up the second part of this section. The "Bibliographic References" section is organized around the themes of Health Education in Schools (official texts and general information) and Nutrition Education in Schools. Finally, this "Further Reading" section supplements and updates the one published in La santé de l'homme 2002; 358: 42-4.[article excerpt]
