In Miramas: Renovating a neighborhood while considering the impact on residents' health [Interview].
The city of Miramas is renovating a neighborhood consisting mainly of public housing. Before proceeding with demolition, renovation, and reconstruction, it incorporated the issue of urban planning’s impact on health by focusing on four key health determinants: air quality, access to healthcare and social services, social cohesion, physical activity, and nutrition. Residents were consulted.
