Help the person do what they do best.

In the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, a training program has been organized for care assistants and home health aides who work with older adults. The program focuses on care practices designed to preserve older adults’ independence by encouraging their participation in daily activities. The goal is to identify their capabilities for independence, recognize their value, and work to maintain them. To achieve this, the caregiver must adapt to each individual and adjust their approach accordingly.
